Colorado Cruise-January 18-24

Sherri and I represented the Univeristy by attending the Colorado district pastors retreat. The retreat was a five day cruise in the Western Caribbean. I know a tough job, but somebody has to do it:) The Colorado district joined with the Dallas district pastors that included about 120 pastors and spouses. The Carnival Cruise, the Ecstasy, which was fitting for a pastors retreat, left port in Galveston, Texas. We stopped at ports in Progresso and Cozumel, Mexico. We enjoyed connecting with pastors from both districts. The districts had short daily meetings that included worship and a devotional.

As with most Cruises we enjoyed the food, and the food, and more food! We also enjoyed spending time at the beaches in the warm sun! The water in Cozumel was crystal clear! We had a great time, despite some problems we had with Sherri not sleeping well due to noise in our cabin.

We had a great week! We thank NNU for sending us on the Cruise. I think my new title should be Dean of the School of Theology and Director of Cruises!
